The Talon Walk is a collaborative welcome event designed to connect new, transfer, and graduate students at IUP with the vibrant heart of Downtown Indiana. Students will have the opportunity to explore local businesses, discover community resources, and learn about the Talon Ticket program, which offers student-friendly deals and promotions throughout the year.

Held at IRMC Park, the event creates a lively, interactive space for students to engage with local organizations, shop owners, and community members. Businesses are encouraged to showcase what makes them unique and help students feel at home in their new community.

This year, the Talon Walk will lead directly into Third Thursdays, a monthly downtown celebration featuring live music, food trucks, and extended shopping hours. Students are encouraged to stick around and enjoy the full experience on Philadelphia Street!
