Celebrate a new chapter for Indiana County at the Welcome Center Grand Opening on Friday, May 1st from 5:00–7:00 PM!

Join community leaders, partners, and residents as we officially open the doors to the new Indiana County Welcome Center—an exciting space designed to connect visitors and locals with everything our region has to offer. This special event recognizes the generous contribution of First Commonwealth Bank, whose donation of the building made this vision a reality.

In collaboration with the Indiana County Tourist Bureau, Indiana County Chamber of Commerce, and Downtown Indiana, the Welcome Center will serve as a hub for tourism, business engagement, and community connection.

Event Schedule:

  • 4:30 PM – Ribbon Cutting 
  • 5:00–7:00 PM – Ceremony & Reception to follow

Guests will enjoy:

  • A ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the occasion
  • Light refreshments and networking opportunities
  • Tours of the new facility
  • A first look at how the Welcome Center will enhance visitor experiences and support local businesses

The Indiana County Welcome Center is conveniently located with parking available along Philadelphia Street or at the Indiana Borough Parking Garage: 650 Water Street, Indiana, PA. Guests are encouraged to plan accordingly to ensure easy access to the event.
